Super-robust outdoor data gateway with IP69K protection class

The "new one" in the Visam product portfolio is called UNO-430 and is a robust and completely waterproof data gateway or edge computer for outdoor use. Designed as a stand-alone data acquisition gateway for the professional sector, the UNO-430 is protected according to the highest protection class IP69K and, with many other industrial features, ensures stable operation in all indoor and outdoor environmental conditions.

Multifunctional communicator

The UNO-430 is a master of wireless communication and can be equipped with Wi-Fi, 4G/5G, GPS as well as Bluetooth modules as required. This turns it into a self-sufficient data logger, remote maintenance client, automation device or machine monitoring system for inaccessible and remote locations such as wind turbines, traffic monitoring systems, extensive production facilities or mobile applications.

Robust industrial design with all-round protection

The IP69K rating meansthat the unit can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washing and steam cleaning, while the IP68 rating indicates that it can be immersed in water under pressure for long periods, which also means sufficient protection when exposed to chemicals or bad weather.

The robust cable glands ensure protection of the electrical equipment by sealing the outer cable sheath and keeping both dust and moisture away from the inside of the enclosure. They also allow the use of standard cables and offer more flexibility in installation and configuration.
Wide ranges for operating temperature (-40 ~ 70 °C) and input voltage (10 ~ 36 VDC) give additional flexibility in the choice of location.

Wireless connectivity for remote communication and mobile operation

With the provision of standard M.2 2230 and 3052/3042 slots, easy integration of Wi-Fi/5G/LTE modules is enabled for wireless communication with remote data transmission and management. Bluetooth and GPS are also supported, which is of course particularly interesting for mobile applications. The use of fast mobile radio solutions eliminates the need for complex cabling, making the UNO-430 gateway ideal for industries with large factory and outdoor facilities.
